Bradley Central Students Plan Race To Support Anti Drug Initiative

A man was shot on Houston Street late Friday night. , Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot at the 1200 block of Houston Street. Police were called to a disorder and heard gunfire in the area. Officers located and assisted a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County . on Friday, in a hazardous materials incident. The employee was reportedly filling a large, plastic container with a hazardous substance when the chemical splashed onto him. The students will live and work at AHOPE Day Center, serving meals and providing some early "spring cleaning" at western North Carolina's only day center for people who are homeless. AHOPE offers access to showers, phones, a mailing address and a safe place for people who in the process of moving out of homelessness and into permanent housing.
